Purpose of Program:

The Planning, Roads and Property Management Department staff work to increase economic opportunities for Passamaquoddy Tribal members through public infrastructure investments that support business growth and the sustainable development of the Tribe’s natural resource base, technical assistance to individual entrepreneurs, and strategic economic development planning for the Pleasant Point Reservation.

 Project Management function for tribal projects which includes:

-Billing and collection of the TERO tax
-Bid development, notification, opening and award
-Maintaining a presence (monitor) at each project site at regular times to make sure plans are being followed
-Addressing project change orders
-Representing the Tribe’s interests at all projects
-Grant writing
-Closing out of existing projects
-Keeping tabs on existing grant projects as Point of Contact.

To qualify for Scattered Sites, must be home owner or lessor and be a member of a federally recognized Tribe, live in the service area south of rt. 9 in Washington County.
