Season’s Greetings

Christmas is a time for family
to gather around and just be merry
To see the smiles to hear the laughter
to clean the mess that follows after
The children are playing with all their toys
and the house is filled with lots of noise
Christmas dinner is for all to share
hungry bellies everywhere
custard pie, eggnog too
turkey, chicken, for me and you
On the TV you will find
a Christmas parade that’s one of a kind
dancing, singing, Santa too
and all the people like me and you
Smiling joyfully because Christmas came
for each year is different not one the same
The children get older and so do we
Christmas is a time for family.
