Please come share your thoughts on energy projects for the community!
Join us! The Sipayik Resilience Committee is excited to present what we’ve been working on to the community and to have a community discussion around energy projects.
Friday, November 21, 2025
4:00pm – 6:30pm
Tribal Office Gym (BRS)
22 Bayview Drive,
Pleasant Point, ME
We will also be doing a guided walkthrough of the questions in the Energy Planning survey. The purpose of the meeting is to get community input on the energy roadmap we are developing and document community needs and preferences around energy. The Tribal Government can use this document to guide the Tribes’s Strategic Energy plan.
We hope to accomplish the following with our community event:
– Help the Tribe prioritize different types of renewable energy projects
– Document the community’s hopes and concerns for tribal and community led energy projects
– Document what kind of future engagement is wanted for making energy decisions
– Discuss energy options you would like to see in residential homes to inform future projects
We will have a free community meal (spaghetti dinner, salad, garlic bread, desserts) and door entry raffle prizes. We are also having a couple organizations table at the event, if that is something you are interested in.
